Taste and usage
Limon Cress has, as the name already implies, a delicious lemon scent and a lemon-anis, mint-like taste.
Due to our special growing techniques we are able to enhance the scent and taste of this Basil type.
The structure is very soft, which makes the cress perfect in any dish.
Combine it in or on desserts, such as ice creams and sorbets.
It also combines very well with sauces for shellfish or direct with other kind of seafood.
 
Origin
There are some 150 different species in the Basil family.
These differences appear in the taste and in their appearance.
 
Availability and storage
Limon Cress is available year round and can easily be stored for up to ten days at a temperature of 12-16°C.
Produced in a socially responsible culture, Limon Cress meets the hygienic kitchen standards. The product
is ready to use, since it is grown clean and hygienically.
Limon Cress is, as all the Koppert Cress cresses and specialties, produced according to the SQF 2000
guidelines.
